The Sunkist Building was built in 1929 for the Heilprin Produce Company at a cost of about $100,000. The Heilprin family borrowed from Central Wisconsin Trust in May 1930 and the declining economic conditions forced the building into foreclosure by September 1937.

Delta Properties purchased the building in 1989 with the long term goal of careful renovation of the buildings to modern commercial uses.

The adaptive re-use of the building to office space was begun in 1996 and currently Delta PropertiesFilene Research InstituteTJK Design BuildLeague of Women Voters WisconsinState Environmental Leadership Program,DreamweaversVidmakerCommunity Shares of WisconsinPizzeria Uno Administration, and Level 3 Communications occupy the fully renovated building.
