The Kennedy Dairy building was constructed in 1929 as Madison’s first sanitary dairy bottling plant. In 2017 Delta Properties renovated the building to offices for the University of Wisconsin Center for Healthy Minds (CHM) chaired by Professor Richard Davidson.

The design concept integrated a two-story layout with skylight atrium and a new stairway in order to gather multiple CHM research teams cohesively in one building.

The project designers perfected an open office design with multiple conference facilities—one of the first such designs for a large university research team at the University of Wisconsin. A meditation research room anchors the first floor and a full staff gathering room for 100 members is the cornerstone of the second floor.
